Block Paving
Tobermore and Bradstone blocks laid to a set pattern with a contrasting border and edge courses haunched in concrete, so the edges hold and the lines stay straight.
Block paving, tarmac and patios laid by a family firm that has been working across Stoke-on-Trent for more than three decades. No deposit, a six year workmanship guarantee, and 75 Google reviews that all say five stars.
Every one of these is built on the same sub-base and finished with the same edge detail. We install Tobermore and Bradstone products, and we lay them the way those manufacturers intend.

Tobermore and Bradstone blocks laid to a set pattern with a contrasting border and edge courses haunched in concrete, so the edges hold and the lines stay straight.

Machine laid and rolled over a compacted base, finished with a block edging course. The quickest surface to lay and the easiest to keep looking sharp.

Sandstone and paving slabs laid on a full mortar bed, jointed and falls set away from the house, with a sett border where the shape calls for one.

We are not domestic only. Car parks and commercial hardstanding, surfaced, edged and drained to the same standard as a front drive, at scale.
We do not ask for money up front. Not for materials, not for labour, not to hold a date in the diary.
You settle up at the end, once the drive is finished, swept and you have walked it with us.
Six years on our workmanship. If something we did is not right, we come back and put it right.
PM Driveways Ltd, company number 08667124, incorporated 28 August 2013 and trading ever since.
Every photograph below is a job we installed. No showroom shots and no catalogue pictures, just Stoke-on-Trent homes with our surfaces on them.

PM Driveways is a family business, and Pat is the one you will meet. He comes out to look at the job, he measures up, he tells you what it needs and what it does not need, and he gives you a written price with no obligation and no pressure to sign anything.
Read the Google reviews and you will notice one thing straight away: people do not thank the company, they thank Pat by name. After more than three decades in the same city, that is the only reputation that matters.
"With over 30+ years of service there is no job too big or small that we cannot deliver on." Pat, PM Driveways Ltd

Nearly every sunken, cracked, weed split drive in Stoke failed for the same reason: somebody saved a day on the excavation and put the surface straight onto soft ground. Here is what happens on our jobs instead.
The old surface and the soft ground under it come out and go away on the lorry. Nothing gets raked to the side and buried under your new drive.
Stone laid and whacked down in layers rather than one deep dump, because a sub-base only does its job when it is properly compacted all the way through.
Edge courses haunched in concrete so the blocks cannot creep, and the surface water given somewhere to go, away from your house, before a single block goes down.
Blocks laid to pattern and jointed, or tarmac rolled, then the site swept clean. We walk the finished job with you before we load up, and only then do you pay.
Most driveways take us three to seven days from the first dig to the final sweep. We will tell you which end of that your job sits at when we quote it, not after we have started.
We would rather point you at the reviews themselves than pick out the flattering lines. Go and read them, and count how many of them mention Pat by name.
Not an average pulled down by a bad week, and not a handful of reviews from friends. Seventy-five separate customers across Stoke-on-Trent, and a perfect five star rating.
Google Business ProfileWe are a Checkatrade registered installation team, which means our work, our insurance and our identity are all checked, and every customer gets asked to score us afterwards.
CheckatradeIf you are not sure whether you are in our patch, call Pat and ask. If it is a bit further out and the job is right, we will still come and look at it.
Send this over or just ring him. He will come out, measure up, talk you through what the job actually needs, and put a written price in your hand. There is no charge for that and no obligation afterwards.
